A SILVER SWING HANDLE BASKET, LONDON 1744. A good George II basket with pierced body and heavy swing handle cast with with dolphins above the hinges. The arms belong to Sir Thomas Hankey, (1704-1770 Hankey & Co. Bankers, later Nat West) impaling those of his wife Sarah, daughter of Sir John Barnard MP.
