The Mobylette was the most successful product by French manufacturer Motobecane. First introduced in 1949, the Mobylette enjoyed a 48-year history and production numbers exceeded 14 million bikes. In 1981 Motobecane filed for bankruptcy and ceased production of their moped line.

This is the second of two examples recently discovered in France, complete but in need of complete restoration. This is thought to be a 50cc model. The Mobylette will be sold without title but on a bill of sale.
