The Mobylette was launched in 1949 and was manufactured until 1997. Production numbers exceeded 14 million with peak production in the 1970s averaging around 750,000 annually. The word "Mobylette" has since become something of a generic trademark in the French language, referring to mopeds in general.

This c.1960 Mobylette was recently discovered in France in complete but barn find condition, and is very much ripe for restoration. The Mobylette will be sold without title but on a bill of sale.
