the serpentine shaped top inset with a variegated marble panel, above an openwork elaborate berried vine carved shaped frieze centred by a a cartouche panel enclosing a scene a scene of two Cantonese figures, raised on well carved babriole legs and a panelled back with an arrangement of cupboards and open shelves, ending on a shaped platform base
