1:18 1964 FERRARI 275 GTB BY BBR

Number 153 of 250

BBR unashamedly places itself at the top end of the modelling market. Its replicas are made in Italy from resin, they do not have opening parts, but they have very good paint finishes, and encompass both classic and modern subjects from both the road and the race track. As an Italian company, BBR unsurprisingly has strong links with Ferrari, and so cars from this brand dominate their offering.

BBR model of the 1:18 1964 Ferrari 275 GTB Short Nose, as presented at the Paris Motor Show, finished in red with a tan interior. This premium version includes a leather base and display cover.

About the Ferrari 275…  “The most important new features of the 275 GTB were the rear-mounted gearbox and independent rear suspension. To improve road-holding, a 280 bhg V12 engine with dry sump lubrication was used; as the overall height of the engine was reduced, it could be fitted deeper in the chassis to lower the centre of gravity. The 275 GTB Berlinetta replaced the 250 GT Lusso at the 1964 Paris Exhibition, marking two landmarks in Ferrari’s road car production history.”

In excellent condition, boxed.
