Orange garnet and opal ring
the central stone has a significant chip to the girdle edge which reaches to the upper girdle facet. There is wear to the facet edges and slight scratches to the table. The colour is not evenly saturated but the stone is bright and has character. One of the opals has a significant chip The others are all abraded.
The mount is in good condition and engraving to the shoulders crisp but to the underside of the ring shows wear.
Ruby and pearl ring
The ruby is bright and lively with good colour saturation and surface condition. The pearls are well matched. All are slightly different shapes and have natural pits and dents to the surface. Good lustre. White colour with grey and pink overtones. Mount is in good condition.
