A BURMESE SILVER BOWL C.1880. A deeply chased bowl of typically Burmese type. The base is engraved with a peacock, a mark used by more than one silversmith to suggest royal patronage. Items similarly engraved with peacock are generally of very high quality.

The bowl has no damage nor repair. Any wear should be clear from the photos. Overall very good condition.
