A SMALL COFFEE POT, LONDON 1748. A small sized coffee pot engraved to the body with a crest within a floral garland. Made in London in 1748 by the firm of William Shaw and William Priest. Pots of this type were also used for the consumption of hot chocolate throughout the 18th century.
