decorated in gold, silver, black takamaki-e and kirikane against a kawari-nuri ground subtly depicting an insect cage enclosing a single cricket (suzumushi), the interior with a miniature inkstone and water dropper in the form of a kettle, finely decorated in gold takamaki-e with autumn grasses reserved against a kinji ground, with a tomobako storage box, and an outer storage box
