cast in five sections, the flared rim neatly cast with three phoenix in flight and berried vines to the underside, the baluster body decorated with two Samurai warriors, flanked by twin ornate handles forms a birds perched amongst pine trees, below hexagonal support below applied with six phoenix and with mixed metal panels of rats, a tiger, a deer, a serpent, hares, and a dragon, the whole raised on an ornamented openwork circular base with four pierced bracket feet, together with a Victorian ebonised pedestal
