the cover decorated with a kimono on an iko (kimono stand), the robe decorated in assorted mon-motifs, the black lacquer gold decorated stand with silvered mounts, reserved against a nashiji ground, the interior with a sagemono design, the lid with a fan and an inro, a takamaki-e cord unites the kinchaku-shaped stoneware inkstone and the metal gourd-shaped water-dropper, all on a nashiji ground, with tomobako storage box
