- Produced for 1 year only, with period luggage
Based on a German design, the DKW RT125, which the Allies of World War ll received as war reparations, BSA launched its first model, the D1, in 1948. The BSA Bantam was a mirror image of the RT 125, with measurements changing from metric to inches. The model Bantam, the D1, was first launched in 1948 outside of the UK and in 1949 within the UK, and produced until 1963.
Built for 1958 only, this lovely D5 underwent a full restoration some years ago and has been garage kept since. Complete with period attachments, his rare model is in super order, and will be ready to hit the road after some light recommissioning.
