Launched in 1979; in the midst of Disco fever and legendary films such as Apocalypse Now, 3 Mile Island and The Deer Hunter, the now iconic Vespa PX series are seen as the pinnacle of perfection for many die-hard Vespa enthusiasts. Motorised transport for the masses, cheap to buy and run, and a hugely fun device to get around on, in its various guises the PX200 has sold over two million units. 

This later PX200E was first registered in 2003, later being refinished to the similar orange and black colour scheme as racing Vespas. The scooter has undergone a number of modifications from standard. The original PX200 barrel has been skimmed professionally to accept a 1.5mm larger Malossi piston, and also ported to suit the enlarged combustion chamber space. New seals and bearings have been fitted to the engine casing and rear end. A Malossi power sports exhaust is fitted, as are a Mazuchelli racing crank, higher 4th gear and uprated clutch with stronger springs. Further improvements include a new indicator blinker unit, battery, flasher box, throttle, gear and clutch cables, S1 tyres (with c. 400 miles), a rare 90s Dieffe King and Queen seat, front crash bar included and SIP metal floor runners. The work was completed by Scrot Shop in Wednesfield.

As you can imagine the Vespa now goes very well indeed! Offered with a new MoT certificate, this orange hot Vespas is ready to hit the road in anger!
