A fine original & large early 20th century motorcar timepiece; the high-quality 8-day swing-out movement in cast alloy case (stamped no. 1205) mounted within nickel-plated brass outer casing; silver-plated dial with etched details of Roman numerals & "Napier" badge logo to centre, with blued-steel hands; excellent working order: some minor plating loss to backplate: mounted in stained-oak mantel frame. 4.5" (115mm) o/d 3.5"(90mm) dash-fitting aperture.
