A GEORGE II OAK LOWBOY, circa 1760, one long central drawer and two shorter side drawers, with an ornate shaped apron, on four cabriole legs, 71 x 80 x 49cm
Very good overall appearance.
There are two cuts to the carcass to the left and right of the central frieze drawer, suggesting the low boy may have been altered at some point.
The ornate apron has been drawn on in pen to give the appearance of two flamingos. The front left leg is not particularly sturdy, suggesting it will need some attention. The top has a horizontal split across it, but this has not separated and does not impact it negatively in a visual way.
The top is possibly a later replacement
