A LARGE ANGLO-INDIAN COMPRESSED CIRCULAR TEAPOT, MADRAS C.1814. An unusually large teapot with Mughal style fluted body on a matching stand. The pot has a fruit wood handle and finial and a central reeded band. Robert Gordon, Madras c.1814.

The teapot is in very good condition with no engraving nor erasures. The stand is also in good order save for a very small (4 mm) split to the underside of one of the lobes due to slight wear.
