EDO PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
the cover finely decorated with a tanzaku slip and plum blossom in takamaki-e and with carved coral flowers, the sides decorated with aubergines, the interior with a nashiji ground with a fine border of karakusa interspersed with stylised mon-motifs
