AN ANGLO-INDIAN CLARET JUG C.1860. A double baluster shape claret jug, heavily embossed and chased with flowers and scrolls, the hinged lid has a floral finial. The handle, with insulators, is attached to the body with cast and applied vine and grape mounts.
The Body is engraved with a full coat of arms. Hamilton & Co. Calcutta
