A PAIR OF GILT TAZZE, 18TH C.EUROPEAN, WITH DETACHABLE BASES, LONDON 1836. The upper plates are of heavy gauge silver embossed with a bacchic scene of putti and a goat among vines and fruit. The bases are plain flared trumpet shape and marked for Susanna Cook, London 1836. Lacking the nuts that hold the screw fixings, soldered to the plates, to the bases.
