A 19TH CENTURY WINDSOR AND NEWTON MAHOGANY ARTIST'S BOX , CIRCA 1870, the hinged lid inset with brass cartouche, with a gilt tooled interior leather panel, inscribed 'Windsor & Newton Ltd, Manufacturers, By Appointment to her Majesty, and to TRH The Prince & Princess of Wales, 38 Rathbone Place, London',  the box interior compartmented and containing original paint blocks, brushes, ceramic palletes, the box with a locking pin front drawer with a campaign style brass handle, opening to reveal further ceramic pallettes
