the covers each with a large medallion of rockwork issuing budding stems, reserved on a turquoise ground of leiwen, one with sylised roundels, the other with bats & roundels, each with a border of ruyi heads

The box with the blue 'ruyi' border has two interior star cracks to the lid and a smal area of loss. The other with two impact dents to the base with resulting enamel loss.
