AN ELIZABETHAN SEAL TOP SPOON, LONDON C.1599. Clearly marked with a leopard's head and date letter, the maker's mark is illegible. The knop retains traces of gilding and is engraved C over I.H.

The spoon is in good condition, no damage nor repairs, minor wear to the lead edge of the bowl. There are traces of gilding to the seal top. The engraving , C over IH is still crisp. There is a small dent to the bowl.
