A COLLECTION OF CLOISONNE, ENAMELLED AND METAL COVERS
18TH CENTURY
Three cloisonne covers with scrolling louts flowers motifs, two Japanese openwork sliver metal covers.  a canton enamel stand and a enamel caddy cover. Two sperate cloisonne pieces.

More Information

The two largest Cloisonne covers generally good overall but with some minor losses to the enamel. The cylindrical cloisonne has oxidisation and with several sections of the enamel missing. The smallest of the four Cloisonne has a misshapen rim and is slightly compressed. The central vasiform section is slightly compressed around the rim and with resulting losses to the body and the rim. Further losses to the rest of the body and with three drilled holes below the opposing rim. Enamel stand missing the four feet and with four or five areas of loss to the enamel. One of the two Japanese covers is slightly misshapen/compressed. The smallest cover seems to be good overall with one or two smaller losses.
