modelled as the mythical beast standing four-square, with stylised scrolls to the ovoid body the cover formed as its head with a curly mane, looking forward with bulging green hardstone eyes and a mouth lined with sharp fangs, a single horn to the top of its head

Good overall condition and appearance with no visible breaks or repairs. There are multiple old dings and dents throughout, consistent with age and use. Jade 'jewel' missing from horn, also old holes to underside of feet which suggests it previously had a stand.
