A MINIATURE SUGAR CASTER, BENJAMINE PYNE LONDON C.1690. An early silver toy version of a William III lighthouse sugar caster. The top has cut card decoration and the body is engraved with a crest, a talbot's head erased.

PROVENANCE: The Dr. Christopher Morris Collection, Shropshire
The caster is in good order, no repairs and no damage save for a small (2 mm) crack to the base ring. There are some small dents as can be seen in the photos. The engraving is clear and the lid fits properly.
