A WILLIAM & MARY WALNUT LONG CASE CLOCK, circa 1700, with alterations, the brass dial signed Thomas Deale, with a date aperture, silvered chapter ring and angel mask spandrels; the eight day twin train movement striking on a bell; the inlaid case with a long trunk door centred by a lenticle the hood with spiral turned columns and a later carved pediment

More Information

Of food clean restored appearance. Pediment is associated and later. Some fragmented veneers and traces of old wood worm. Movement again is clean and of cared for restored appearance.
Clock was functioning in the house but we cannot guarantee that as the clock has since been removed and we not attempted to start the clock.
Old marks and scratches consistent with age.
