depicting a bare breasted lady in blue dress with fleur de lis pattern, with a string of pearls in her hair and wearing pearl earrings, painted on ivory under glass with decorative chased gold and blue enamel border. The hinged box and lid being lined with gold, a carved gold ouroboros snake borders the circumference of the lid.
