A PAIR OF SILVER LADLES, LONDON 1752. A very unusual pair of matching soup ladles with cast shell bowls and rococo cast finials. The reverse of each bowl is engraved with the crest of Spenser of Althorp beneath an earl's coronet. Made by William Cripps.

There is no damage nor repair to the ladles. Please see photo of the crests and coronets. The dia. of the bowls is 9 cm. The ladle are approx. 41 cm long in total.
