the oval shell cameo carved with the angel Gabriel, with finger raised, in a ropetwist and beaded surround.

Under magnification, there are three vertical hairline cracks visible, most notable in front of the subject's face.
There is general surface wear, scratches and dirt to the cameo, and some minor areas where the mount has been mishapen
