1989 Honda CR250
Registration Number: N/A
Frame Number: TBA
- Winner of the Farleigh Vets MXdN
There are timeless classics in each field, and in the dirt bike world, there’s nothing that has reached that status like the Honda CR250R. The prototype was built in 1971, but it was not until late 1972 that production of the 1973 model "out of the box racers" began sale to the general public. The CR250 was produced for nearly 37 years, 2007 being the final year of production.
Even though it’s been out of production since the early 2000s, CR probably won more combined amateur and professional races than any other motorcycle in the dirt world. The early models are sought after in vintage racing, and the later ones are still competitive against four-strokes. Even though it’s been out of production since the early 2000s, CR probably won more combined amateur and professional races than any other motorcycle in the dirt world.
This 1988 model is well specified with many extras such as Talon XL rims and anodised red hubs. Winner of the Farleigh Vets MXdN, the Yamaha is in very good condition and ready to race once more.
