A fine early 20th century Automobilist's Accessory by Tapley & Co, Totton, Southampton; nickel-plated brass with matching plated bronze fittings for level-adjustment, etched nickel-silvered dial calibrated 1-in 4 to 1-in 30 "Rise & Fall" with central needle-pointer; some loss of plating with age-wear, lens cover slightly loose. 3" (76mm) diameter.
