PROVENANCE: Dr David McCay. From the same private collection as the Wanli garlic mouth vase gifted to the V&A Museum by his wife Mrs. F H McCay, accession No. CIRC.23-1950.
Good overall appearance with signs of age and use. Front of spout does have an old crack to the bronze but it does no appear to go right through.
