A VICTORIAN STAFFORDHIRE FIGURE OF A 'TURK', her dress intricately decorated in gilt sprigs, her robe with a rough 'faux fur' border, a 'guitar' propped in her left hand (Chipped), originally one of a pair, together with a seated figure of girl with a dog, her hair pulled in a bun. 29.5 cms high max.
Both figures of good overall appearance.
The 'Turk' has the tip of his right thumb chipped off and missing, and the head stock of his instrument is also detached and missing.
The lady has a hairline crack to the glaze on her left forearm, but this looks more like a firing fault than actual damage. Otherwise in good condition. Both figures have surface wear, rubbing and areas of flaking paint consistent with age
