the deer modelled recumbent with their heads turned backwards over the body, the back each carved with prunus flowerhead motifs

PROVENACE: From a Private Kent Collection, acquired from Pietro Accorsi, Turin, Italy, and each bearing his dealer labels.
The horns are lacking as can be seen in the image. One has had the central carved flowerhead replaced. Each with minor frits and losses around the edges. One has impact damage to the top of the head with resulting losses, mostly around the horns.
