A VICTORIAN MICROMOSAIC BANGLE, CIRCA 1860
the circular raised mount of micro mosaic depicting two Doves on a branch, with a blue ground, within a border of red, white and blue micro mosaic detail, the bangle with similar detail to the underside and flower head detail to the shoulders, baton hinges. 
Worn and with lead solder repair
Needs restoration.
Evidence of maker's mark but very worn
Total weight 54.2gms
Circular boss 3.5cm diameter
Underside of bangle 1.2cm wide

More Information

Metal: gold tests between 15 and 18 carat.

Micromosaic has numerous chips all over the bangle and discolouration and has serious lead solder repair to the upper section. There are also splits and dents to the inside of the bangle at the top.
