清 玛瑙俏雕鼻烟壶
with a gently flared neck and superbly hollowed, one side with two Buddhist lions beneath a pair of birds, the reverse with a monkey holding a stick with fine detail to his hairwork, with concave mouth, together with hardstone stopper

Acquired by the father of V.W.S. (1890-1977) in China in the 1930s.
