modelled as a quail cage, the birds foraging for scattered grains, the base of the cage simulating cloisonné, with a kinji ground with highlights in gold hiramaki-e and kuechi, further decorated in polychrome togidashi, with a nashiji interior, with a signed tomobako storage box
