A SILVER SAFFRON POT, CHARLES FOX, LONDON 1836. An unusual small pot for saffron tea, decorated with a central reeded band beneath a hinged lid with a cast rose finial. The body of the pot is engraved with arms within a lozenge

The pot is in very good order, the engraving is still crisp and there is little wear. 18 cm from back of the handle to the tip of the spout.
9 cm high to the top of the finial.
