held at the New York Hilton, April 18th 1975, the silver plated plaque engraved ‘A Tribute to Sir Lew Grade whose genius for showmanship has bridged the continents, The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences New York Chapter’,
mounted on an ebonised wooden board and two original programmes from the event.

NOTE: This was the spectacular night on which luminaries such as John Lennon, Tom Jones, Julie Andrews and Peter Sellers paid tribute to Lew, he then famously broke into a spontaneous dance routine and dropped the plaque, retrieving it when he left the stage.
