KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
the baluster sides moulded petal-shaped panels, painted in tones of underglaze blue with around  butterflies amongst densely-flowering leafy peony sprays, within floral and foliate pattern borders, the domed covers similarly decorated and surmounted by lotus-bud finials
