Three Cross Motorcycles at Three Legged Cross in Dorset was one of the leading suppliers of Laverda Motorcycles in the UK.
In the 1980s, they decided to offer a ‘hand built special ‘. The Jota, a 981cc air cooled DOHC triple cylinder motorcycle, was the fastest production bike from 1976 to 1981, with 90bhp and a top speed of 140mph.
The RGS Corsa, produced at the request of UK importers Three Cross Motorcycles was a higher performance version of the RGS. Claimed power output was up to 95bhp, the engine had higher compression forged pistons, a gas flowed head and larger inlet valves.
It is believed only four of these 3X Jotas were built, with RGS Corsa specification engine, fairing and sporting two round headlights.
This extremely rare Three Cross Motorcycle RGA Jota Special has covered just 28,000 miles, supported by a history file and current MoT certificate. Our vendor informs us this bike runs and rides extremely nicely. This is without doubt one of the rarest sportsbikes of the 1980s.
