TWO LARGE EARLY 19TH CENTURY BOOKS RELATING TO ENGLISH CATHEDRAL ARCHITECTURE, circa 1810, includes a plethora of interesting engraved plates of drawings by renowned architect, John Carter, the larger book measuring 66 x 49 cm, the other book measuring 68 x 51 cm
The slimmer volume features St Albans Abbey.
It does appear as though some plates have been removed.
This volume has foxing issues and the occasional torn page, but is of good overall appearance.
The larger volume features Chapel of St Steven, Westminster, Exeter Cathedral, Bath Abbey, Durham Cathedral, Gloucester Cathedral, St Alban's abbey. The larger volume is in better condition, and none of the plates seem to have been removed
