MOULDED BLUE, WHITE, PALE CELADON-GLAZED AND ANHUA FOLIATE-RIMMED DISH
MING DYNASTY, 16TH-17TH CENTURY
decorated with a central octafoil roundel in shades of underglaze blue and white depicting a flower head surrounded by radiating triangular panels of various geometric patterns. The cavetto has an indistinct moulded stylised design under a very pale bluish-celadon glaze continuing onto the underside and base, with the exception of the foot rim.
