Developed from Triumph’s top selling Thunderbird, the Triumph Tiger 110 was launched in 1953 as the sports model of the Triumph range. The model was developed for the American market, being Triumph’s fastest production model to date. On 6th September 1956, at Bonneville Salt Flats, American racer Johnny Allen secured the motorcycle land speed record on a heavily modified Triumph T110 with a top speed of 214.17 mph. The success led to the development of the Tiger 110s successor,  the legendary Triumph Bonneville. 

Subject of an older restoration, SDV 143 has been in storage in the last year, as such will require light commissioning. Offered with buff logbook and older MOT certificates, all in all a very example of a true Triumph classic.
