A FINE 16 BORE FLINTLOCK DOUBLE BARRELLED OVER AND UNDER OFFICERS PISTOL BY GEORGE JONES, circa 1820, the browned octagonal damascus barrels with gold band, platinum ‘blow-out’ plugs, silver foresight and and ‘V’ shaped rear sight, stirrup ramrod and signed bolted locks wiith banners and sunbursts with rain proof pans and engraved trigger guard and butt cap, and walnut stock, all contained in its original biaze lined case with various accessories and bearing a label for Joseph Simmons, 44 High Street, Birmingham.
