A FOUR FOLD SCREEN CHINESE SCREEN, LATE 19TH CENTURY, each lacquered panel divided into two sections, with relief decoration to one side the upper sections depicting an dignitary and attendants in a formal garden setting, the lower sections depicting birds perched amongst blossoming trees, the relief inset with hardstone, bone and mother of pearl, the reverse sides with a carved and painted continuing scene of female courtiers in a courtyard setting
