A HALF PINT MUG, LONDON 1775. A baluster shape mug with an acanthus 'S' scroll handle. Made by the specialist mug and tankard maker, John Swift in London in 1775.

The mug has no engraving. The fire stain is in tact suggesting that there have been no erasures to engraving previously. Overall the mug is in very good condition.
