The third generation of the C-Class, the new model was launched in 2007, with estate versions joining in 2008 and the coupé three years later in 2011. Styled by Karlheinz Bauer and Peter Pfeiffer, a number of versions in various trim and engine packages were available, the range-topping model (other than out-and-out AMGs) being the C350.

The design of W204 was finalised in 2003, ahead of the model launch in January 2007 at the 2007 Geneva Auto Show. The W204 line offered a range of four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines - at the top end of the petrol range is the C350, with a 3.5-litre V6 unit developing 300+ bhp and 273lb ft. The AMG variant, marketed as the C63 AMG, used the 6.2-litre V8 petrol engine. All models except the C63 AMG and C350 were available in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive (4Matic).

This rare 2012 Facelift C350 Coupe AMG Sport, fitted with the powerful 306bhp V6 petrol engine, was purchased two years ago by our vendor, who has fastidiously maintained the vehicle with circa £4,000 invested in its future reliability. Looking through the comprehensive history file, we find Mercedes-Benz dealer records from new to 2023, and then further maintenance care of Mercedes-Benz specialist Kartechnic of Dorset. Intended for long-term ownership, maintenance has included the fitting of the all-important genuine Mercedes-Benz engine wiring harness, HP fuel pump and a number of other items. 

This ULEZ-compliant C350 Sport Edition is fitted with the V6 Blue-Efficiency engine, mated to a 7G-Tronic+ gearbox. Finished in Metallic Palladium with Black Leather Interior, this very attractive example features a desirable specification including Parktronic (Front and Rear with Advanced Parking Guidance), Luxury Climate Control, Voice Control, Adaptive High Beam Assist, Speedtronic Cruise Control, Bluetooth Telephone Pre-Wiring, Tilt and Opening Panoramic Sunroof, Heated Front Seats, ice cold air-conditioning, Electric Front 8-Way Seats with Memory Package, Load-Through Folding Rear Seats, Dynamic Active Handling Package and Updated Satellite Navigation.
