A COLLECTION OF WWI PHOTOGRAPH ALBUMS CONTAINING A NUMBER OF AIRCRAFT RELATED IMAGES including a picture of a Royal Aircraft Factory R.E.8 (Tail number B 6821) and a Nieuport Scout at St Omer Aerodrome, December 1917, other personal albums including annotated photos and some written ‘ Lt. Thomas (Killed) Fell 200 FT. Beaulieu Hants’ which appears to relate to John Dobson Thomas of the Royal Flying Corps – Second Lieutenant – American who died on 20th March 1918, age 37, when his Sopwith 5F.1 Dolphin crashed after failing to pull out of a dive while stunt flying. He is buried in St. Paul’s Churchyard, East Boldre, together also with various Indian images all contained in 7 small albums.
