A DUBLIN MOTE SPOON, C.1818. A very uncommon Irish mote spoon. The bowl is chased to represent a tea leaf, the plain stem having a standard arrow shaped finial, apparently made to clear blockages in the spout of a teapot. Made and marked in Dublin in 1818.
Though not unheard of, mote spoons made in Ireland are only rarely seen.

15 g.
The mote spoon is in good condition and has no damage nor repair.
